Dairy Processing Facility Sanitation

The processing of raw milk requires a high standard of sanitation. A proper sanitary design will cover both the internal surfaces of the sanitary process line, as well as the external environment surrounding the sanitary equipment. Our designers include Clean-In-Place (CIP) sanitation for all piping, pumps, valves, and processing equipment and Clean-Out-of-place (COP) for anything that cannot be cleaned in line.

With a full HACCP plan, you can be reassured of a proper, p clean, every time.

This would include looking at dairy process equipment like pumps, valves, and heat exchangers, but (of equal importance), it also includes evaluating the current CIP or cleaning program to ensure that the programming isn’t short-changing equipment that COULD with a good program by coupling it with a bad cleaning program. The dairy process equipment and the program have to work together (not against one another) to effectively provide consist of cleaning. If you’re chasing counts in an existing plant, this is where we’d start – with a CIP consult in your dairy plant.
